What's in a name?

I decided on "Days of Esther" as the name of this little blog after a message at church based out of the book of Esther. In chapter 4 verse 14, Esther is asked "who knows but that you were made queen for such a time as this?"  I am encouraged by this verse in that the Lord has put me in a place...for a purpose.  It is my hope that I will always be reminded of this even when things are difficult...to look beyond my current circumstances and remember that My Maker is the one who paves a way and goes before each and every one of us.

Toes in the Water

So, today is the day that I'm sticking my toes into the waters of blogging; something that is old hat to many, but new to me.  I'm excited and hopeful that this little page will help me to document my days, the memories that they hold and handy info that I find along the way. So here's to something new!
